Evaluation of Residual Axial Load-Carrying Capacity of Shear-Damaged RC Columns

报告内容:From post-earthquake reconnaissance surveys, it is found that reinforced concrete (RC) columns with light or widely spaced transverse reinforcement are vulnerable to shear failure. It is well accepted among engineers that shear failure can deteriorate the axial load-carrying capacity of RC columns. In the case that the axial load-carrying capacity of shear-damaged RC column deteriorates significantly, the building collapse may happen and result in catastrophic damage to human lives and properties. It is therefore necessary to properly evaluate the residual axial load-carrying capacity of RC columns vulnerable to shear failure.
In this presentation, first, a new evaluation model of residual axial load-carrying capacity will be introduced for shear-damaged RC columns. Second, the accuracy of the proposed model will be investigated through loading tests.
报告人简介:杨勇,博士,研究员。现供职于东京大学生产技术研究所,从事钢筋混凝土结构的相关理论以及实验研究工作。
2007年毕业于合肥工业大学土木工程专业,获得学士学位。同年被推荐为免试入学,继续在本校攻读结构工程专业,获得硕士学位。在日本文部科学省奖学金的赞助下,2011年赴日开展钢筋混凝土结构的震后残余抗震性能评价相关研究工作。2016年获得东京大学工学博士学位,论文题目为“Evaluation of Residual Axial Load-Carrying Capacity of Shear-Damaged RC Columns”。
在日本工作学习期间,主持了由日本建筑学会竹中育英会赞助的钢筋混凝土结构的震后残余抗震性能评价的研究项目,参与了由日本学术振兴会赞助的海啸冲击荷载评价以及砌体结构的面内外的抗震性能评价等相关研究项目。此外,为了给相关规范的震后修订提供可靠的依据,多次参与了日本311大地震后实地灾害调查工作,编写了地震以及海啸灾害的调查报告。
