STEEL STRUCTURES IN SEISMIC AREA: Research and applications at University of Naples Federico II

The research group on steel structures of University of Naples Federico II is actively involved in several (both national and international) research projects in the field of seismic design and assessment. The whole research activity is strongly oriented to improve seismic codes (both in Italy and in Europe) and to provide design aids and innovative solutions for both practitioners and market of steel constructions. This seminar provides some highlights of the recent research findings.

报告人简介：

Raffaele LANDOLFO, PhD, 是意大利那不勒斯菲德里克第二大学教授，结构工程系主任。主要从事钢结构和组合结构的研究，目前主持多项意大利国家及欧盟合作科研项目。曾任European Convention for Constructional Steelwork (ECCS)主席，现任TC 13 Seismic Design委员会主席和Steel and Composite Structures within CEN/TC250/SC8工作组召集人。他是欧盟 Erasmus Mundus "Sustainable Constructions under Natural Hazards and Catastrophic Events "研究生计划项目的负责人。
